As a Forex Dealer, FX Clearing is required by law to collect personal information such as: name, date of birth, addresses, occupation, and a copy of federal documents. Personal information supplied to FX Clearing is confidential and FX Clearing will not sell or distribute in any other waysuch information to any third parties unless authorized to do so by individual or required by the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada ("FinTRAC") or other applicable regulations.
FX Clearing is also required by law to be sensitive to "suspicious activities" and "suspicious transactions" which FX Clearing must report about to FinTRAC. FX Clearing must be sensitive to terrorist activities of individuals, entities, and countries identified by the United Nations and other national and international agencies.
